01. About Landvaya

Landvaya is a visa-friendly job search platform for international students and foreign workers seeking employment in the United States and Canada. We offer:

• Ranked job matches that account for your visa status, resume, and employer sponsorship history
• An AI Interview Copilot desktop app for real-time interview assistance (Pro tier)

02. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Landvaya. By creating an account, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• You are legally able to enter into binding contracts
• You will use the platform only for lawful job-search activities
• You will not misuse the service or attempt to harm the platform

03. User Accounts

To use most features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

04. User Content and Information

You retain ownership of the resumes, profile details, and other content you provide. By submitting content to Landvaya, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our services — ranking jobs against your profile and powering Interview Copilot context.

You agree that information you provide is truthful. Misrepresentation of visa status, work authorization, or qualifications may result in account termination.

05. AI Features and Disclaimer

Landvaya provides AI-powered features including job ranking, sponsorship scoring, and Interview Copilot.

You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs are guidance, not legal, immigration, or career advice
• AI recommendations may contain errors, omissions, or biases
• Final hiring decisions are made by employers, not Landvaya
• Visa approvals, work authorization, and immigration decisions are made by government agencies, not Landvaya
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it

Landvaya does not guarantee:

• That you will receive interviews, job offers, or sponsorship
• That AI outputs will be accurate or complete in all cases
• The visa or immigration outcome of any application

06. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Landvaya offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier.

• Prices are clearly displayed on our pricing page
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
• You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for partial periods
• Annual subscriptions follow the refund policy displayed at checkout

We reserve the right to change prices with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

07. Interview Copilot

The Interview Copilot is a macOS desktop application available to Pro subscribers. By using Copilot:

• You agree to use it ethically and in accordance with the policies of any interview you participate in
• You understand that some employers explicitly prohibit AI assistance during interviews; using Copilot in violation of those policies is your responsibility
• You will not use Copilot for proctored academic tests, certification exams, or other settings where AI assistance is forbidden
• You acknowledge that Copilot processes audio from your interview sessions in real time

Landvaya is not responsible for consequences arising from your use of Copilot in inappropriate contexts.

08. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for illegal activities, including immigration fraud
• Provide false information about your identity, qualifications, or visa status
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from Landvaya
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to the platform
• Misuse Interview Copilot or any other feature to generate harmful, deceptive, or unethical content

Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

09. Intellectual Property

All Landvaya software, design, branding, database structure, scoring algorithms, and AI tooling are owned by Landvaya or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer the platform without written permission.

Public data (job listings, LCA filings, USCIS approvals, LMIA records) is sourced from public government and employer publications. Our aggregation and ranking of that data is our intellectual property.

10. Third-Party Services

Landvaya integrates with third-party services including:

• Employer career sites (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, others) for job data
• Payment processing (Stripe)
• AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) for Interview Copilot
• Email delivery (Resend)
• Cloud infrastructure (Render, Supabase, Cloudflare)

We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of these third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Landvaya is not liable for:

• Hiring decisions, salary outcomes, or career results
• Visa approvals, denials, or immigration outcomes
• Errors in third-party job data, employer information, or sponsorship signals
• Losses resulting from reliance on AI recommendations
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Landvaya in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Landvaya harmless from any third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use or misuse of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (c) content you submit that infringes the rights of a third party.

Landvaya will defend you against a third-party claim alleging that the Landvaya software, as provided and used in accordance with these Terms, infringes that party's intellectual-property rights, and will pay costs finally awarded against you for that claim — except where it arises from your modification of the platform, your combination of it with materials we did not provide, or your use contrary to our instructions or these Terms.

To claim indemnification, the indemnified party must promptly notify the other in writing, provide reasonable cooperation, and allow the indemnifying party to control the defense and settlement (no settlement imposing a non-monetary obligation on the indemnified party may be made without its consent).

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Provide false information
• Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity
• Pose a security or operational risk to Landvaya

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Landvaya after the effective date indicates acceptance.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Landvaya will be resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware, except for small-claims matters and claims for injunctive relief, which may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction.
